A - Excellent to Very Good These will usually be comparable to an off-air recording, with perhaps just the odd voice over.

B - Good to Reasonable Often converted from lower resolution American prints, these films may also have been softened by previous analogue copying.

C - Below Average to Poor Although perfectably watchable, these films will have some defects in their picture and, occasionally, sound.

A good way to get an idea of the quality is to view the The Bad Lord Byron film clips, although bear in mind that the DVD will be of a much higher quality (typically 6500 kbps rather than 450).
