Excited by the arrival of his wife, Captain Davidson and ship's mate Nobby prepare a welcome dinner.

Susan, however, has no intention of being a captain's wife and leaves after a fierce argument.

Drowning his sorrows in a bar on the Javanese waterfront, the captain meets "laughing" Anne; but when a man from her past threatens to kill her, she entreats the ship's crew to take her with them.

Two songs from the film, I've Fallen in Deep Water and The World is Mine on Sunday, sung by Lita Roza, were relased on a 78 record.(52 pictures)
