This lighthearted comedy-thriller was written by Agatha Christie expressly for Margaret Lockwood. She played the role of a diplomat's wife who finds that she has to dispose of an unexpected corpse in the library before her husband brings an important foreign politician home to dinner.(7 pictures)

The action of the play passes in the drawing-room of Copplestone Court, the Hailsham-Browns' home in Kent. Time - the present.
