W hilst not her best films by any means, it is good to see these Joan Greenwood films released on DVD. The Hound of the Baskervilles is due for release on 18th November 2002 and will feature the full theatrical cut (seven minutes longer and in widescreen), original trailer and cast biographies. Mysterious Island will be released in widescreen on 2nd December 2002 by Columbia Tri-star home video. Special features will include the Harryhausen Chronicles, Mysterious Island and "This is Dynamation" featurettes, photo gallery and theatrical trailer. Nice to see special features that aren't "Scene Selection"!

With these releases hot on the heels of The Man in the White Suit, surely we are about due a DVD release of Whisky Galore? Not to mention the lamentable lack of Margaret Lockwood DVDs...
