Data about any purchases you make is stored along with the information submitted if you voluntarily sign up to the mailing list. This site uses "implied consent" to allow cookies - in other words, your continued use of the site counts as consent.
Social MediaThe site embeds social media buttons, which need cookies to function. Here are the respective privacy policies for Facebook and Google.
Shopping BasketSessions are used to store shopping basket items. These will expire if you close your browser, or within a short space of time if you do not check out.
PurchasesA record is made of any purchases you make through the site, including your name and address. This information is also used to tailor email salutations and to anonymously generate the "people who viewed this DVD also viewed" suggestions. No credit or debit card details are kept as these are processed by PayPal.
Mailing ListIf you decide to subscribe to email updates, your email address is stored along with the IP address of your computer (to help guard against unauthorsied sign-ups). You may unsubscribe at any time via the link included in the emails, or from the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any page on the site.
Implied ConsentThe Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) states on its cookies privacy page that "implied consent is a valid form of consent and can be used in the context of compliance with the revised rules on cookies." This is the consent that this website uses.
