Dennis Price

Born in Twyford, Dennis Price began acting at Oxford University, studied acting under Ronald Adam at the Embassy Theatre School and was on stage from 1937. Alcoholism and tax problems from the mid-1960s led to his absence from Britain and his appearance in some third-rate films. Died of cirrhosis of the liver.
