A nightclub mind-reader persuades one of his hostesses to give him a murder alibi
In 1930s Paris, Helene Ardouin works reluctantly as a hostess at the Femina. Also engaged at the nightclub, as part of the cabaret act, is mind-reader, Professor Winkler. When a former associate of his is murdered, the Professor falls under suspicion โ but he has a watertight alibi from Helene.
