Mini Biography

Once, Trinder was performing at a London nightclub, where his audience included Orson Welles, who had just been divorced from Rita Hayworth. He began his act in his usual way saying ‘Trinder’s the name.’ Welles heckled ‘Why don’t you change it?’ Said Trinder, ‘Is that a proposal?’.
