Distinguished British stage actor and director, in occasional films as an actor

Mini Biography

Quayle studied at RADA and was on stage from 1931, becoming director of the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon (1948-56), playing many classical roles. His second wife was actress Dorothy Hyson.
