Mini Biography

Born in London, the son of an army officer and the Contessa Carandini, Lee began work as a clerk and, after service in the Second World War, was one of many would-be actors signed to a seven-year contract to train in Rank’s Charm School. He played small roles until cast as Dracula in one of the early Hammer horrors.
